Determine the correct shoe size by measuring your child's foot length. Measure both of your child's feet. If the feet are different sizes, go by the larger foot. Measure in the afternoon or evening, as feet can expand during the day. Measure the length of the foot from the heel to the big toe. For healthy foot development, a child's foot needs room to grow. This growth is taken into account in the sizes.
